Soul. Where you chose to live comes down to your soul. Mine is very peaceful here in the Arctic, where the vast unhindered horizon is always in view. It has taken my photography into a different fraction. Blinding snow, glimmering waters, stark contrast, the long rays of light, make you re-invent your style. Composition is minimal with no trees or large cliffs for back drops. The quietness and simplicity of the land speaks volumes to me and my capacity to capture what I feel is tested at every shutter click. When you are inspired by the north it is an integral part of you for all your days.
